I wonder by looking at the night sky and pondering all life on this little spec of a planet in the vast Universe and how improbable and interconnected it is. Neil Tyson said it best, "many people feel small because they're small and the Universe is big, but I feel big because my atoms came from those stars."

Hey Shannon -- THanks for that lovely reflection. You suggest an interesting question: does being in the presence of Nature -- not just deep space, but all of Nature's wonder -- make you feel more or less significant? Hm-m-m...

I don't think of our significance in those terms. The way I see it, if you add kindness and peace to this existence which is inclusive of all life, then our life is significant.
Hey Anonymous - I don't think I said anything about significance, though I'd certainly agree that kindness and peace are essential to a life well-lived. They're also, I believe, closely related to wonder.
So, is that how you and yours make room for wonder in your lives?
