HOW TO BE IN THE MOMENT – 101 Tips

 TIP #3
Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.

Who are all these people whose voices we hear inside—controlling, judging, berating? Who do they think they are?

Remember, those voices are not yours. While perhaps well-intentioned, they have their own baggage. Trust you own voice.

"Trust your own voice" ahhh, yes! When the monkey mind takes over in my head, it feels so much like the photo you posted. When it gets too loud and wild, I know, I KNOW that it is time for stillness. It's there that I hear my voice.
Hugs,

Hey Susan -- I like the image of your monkey mind! Sounds like you know how to tame it.
Stillness is a powerful ally -- it doesn't get rid of the monkey; it just puts it outside for a while so you can have a moment to yourself.

We shall rename the comments section ..... the connection zone. Then we can hear our true and authentic voices. Comments often are subjugated by judgments, prejudices, and fears. They are often enticements for tit for tats and to alleviate pressures and loneliness. Comments are often directed at our selves to reflect upon and overcome.

However, in the newly developed connection zone.... what is being shared and offered is celebrated and expanded upon... where information is absorbed and re-transmitted in a newly enhanced form.

Hey Bern -- I'll take a look as soon as I can get my head above water here. Between working on new post content and trying to peddle my book, things are pretty busy right now.
Thanks, as always for your contributions!
